We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Rigger to join our team.

As a Senior Rigger, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality character rigs for our video game projects. You will work closely with our animation, character design, and game development teams to ensure that character animations are realistic, seamless, and visually appealing.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain character rigs for a variety of characters, creatures, and other assets in our games.
  • Ensure that rigs are optimized for animation and meet the technical requirements of our game engine.
  • Collaborate with animators and designers to troubleshoot rigging issues and provide solutions.
  • Develop and implement rigging tools and scripts to streamline workflow and improve efficiency.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior riggers and artists as needed.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements and best practices in rigging techniques and tools.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Animation, Computer Graphics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience as a rigger in the video game industry, with a strong portfolio showcasing your rigging work.
  • Proficiency in rigging techniques for bipedal and quadrupedal characters, as well as other complex assets.
  • Expertise in rigging in Autodesk Maya software.
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, kinematics, and deformation principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • English Level Pro.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with artists, animators, and developers.
  • Passion for video games and a desire to contribute to the creation of memorable gaming experiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with rigging for facial animation and lip syncing.
  • Knowledge of rigging for real-time rendering engines (Unreal Engine).
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Mel for tool development and automation.
